Hi All, Through the miracle of Skype, or some other avenue, my phone rang about 11:20am California time today. It was George Maschke from Holland. He had noted I had been posting, as many of you noted I could, via made up names. He may have thought he was slick in tracking the URL's, and perhaps wanted me to be impressed, but I just asked if he was slacking off on the job and why it took him so long to notice. He invited me back to the board, so I'm guessing it has been slow on the old Anti-Polygraph website, and he needs a Foe to bout with or something. Anyway, I just wanted to get any input as to any strategy I have have missed out on in what WE are currently doing or not doing on that site so that I would be in compliance with the goals of the fine professionals here.

I say silence for a month or two - from everybody and watch them develop multiple personalities. Seriously, I'd like to watch them now that they are used to the debate. It will be interesting to see how they handle it, especially given the invite in this case. (He's invited you, though, not because it's slow, but because he knows he can't stop you. This way, you're out right from the beginning, which means you're on his terms - but it is his board.)You could tell him you'd like a call from Gino, too. IP: Logged |

I have to agree with Barry. As a test, I say we all sit silent. I have always sat silent...until a month or so ago when I made my first post ever at AP. Of course, they tried to spin the crap out of my statement which I expected. While at AAPP, a post by George was put up which I now believe was bait to get me back on the board again. I really do believe that he wants the conflict and as a test, I'd like to see who the minions rail against if we give them no fodder. So add my vote for a two month silence strike. ------------------ Ralph Hilliard PolygraphPlace Owner & Operator Be sure to visit our new store for all things Polygraph Related http://store.polygraphplace.com IP: Logged |

George has contacted me via AOL instant message---but he has told me that he doesn't want me to post on the board. One thing can be certain about Maschke, and that is he knows how to hold a grudge. Apparently, he hated me as palerider, but absolutely despised me as paradiddle. To his disappointment and contrary to that former FBI agent's platitudes about people being mean when they post anonymously, I posted under my real name and I didn't lose my petulent style. About a year ago, I stopped giving a F*** about my personal image and decided to be comfortable with my immature aggresive tendancies. Many wise people have cautioned "wrestle with a pig and you'll get dirty." More platitudes. Fighting is dirty, period. The above platitude is best served as a mantra for people more concerned with their personal image (or even job) than the battle of hearts and minds on this thing called the internet. I understand the reasoning behind lurking and I hope that AP stays static over the years without winning more important battles against polygraph besides the trifecta of paranoia against CM's, instrument changes against CM's, and a superior media outlet/presence on the world wide web.Mom always said, be yourself. I was. Maschke is the one who posts under an assumed identity. His photograph is photoshopped (he de-geeked his face) and his writing style is so pretentious and filled with his own sanctimonious philanthropy and broken record ideals, it's a wonder he hasn't bored himself to death already.I know I grew bored of myself over there----being equally repetitive and single-minded. George called me today to thank me for the Fruitcake I sent him for Christmas.......NOT!Pat, Your phone number is no secret. I have seen it written on many bathroom walls in San Fran! (Tee-Hee!)Seriously though Pat, I would not engage this jerk for a while. I agree with Barry. Two months of silence will cause George's Gerbil brain to implode! Okay Folks, I'm glad I checked in, and will not post again until I see some of you there as well. Perhaps we need a commitment from him in writing that there will be NO MORE banning of anyone on either side of the aisle, shy of violations of Federal internet standards should they exist. So there we have it. The "Cone of Silence Challenge Clock" has begun ticking. August 10th will be the next time we revisit the topic.I am eager to "lurk" on the site to watch them eating their own! Ted IP: Logged |

All,between work and vacation, I've been off the board for a couple weeks. If the consensus is to hiatus for a month, OK by me. I can be entertained elsewhere... Jim IP: Logged |

A rule of thumb in behavior modification is that you can ignore any behavior/problem that won't escalate. That is in part why strategies like extinction work, and why they sometimes don't work. Also, some behaviors escalate before they subside. We all know George won't go away, and we've already found that completely ignoring some of his cronies will send them away bored. Some come back as alters. ------------------ "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the war room." --(Stanley Kubrick/Peter Sellers - Dr. Strangelove, 1964)

So what are you saying Ray? This isn't therapy for GM et al. This is for our entertainment over their expected torment.IP: Logged |

Does anyone think it is just a coincidence at AP that nopolycop wrote 'I predict silence will be the resultant response from the A.P.A.' as a response to McCarthy......yes, I am still paranoid! IP: Logged |

Ted,I envision Cullen as an agry 70 something, sitting as his Dell 280 with a pi$$ bucket on the floor next to his feet and a crusted over tuna sandwich on a paper towel by the keyboard. He is one angry old dude... Jim IP: Logged |

Hi Guys, I have noted that other than Sgt. and TM Cullen or GM; that the hit rate on the site was quite slow for postings. That does not tell us though how many people are downloading GM's little dirty tricks book. I only know that for him to have called me like that out of the blue that he too must have noted his traffic leveling off. When we do begin to repost again, I would like to suggest that we start a threat statin that XYZ P.D. is now asking the "Maschke Question" as a part of the test with something like R69: Have you performed ANY Research in an attempt to "Beat" today's test ? If this became known among the Anti's, then I feel it would increase either hit rates in any R/I formats used, or if placed on the end of the LEPET test perhaps. It might even increase pre-test admissions as to such activity where the Examiner is better informed of such a test subject. Just an Idea, so don't blow a cork !!! IP: Logged |

Jim, Cullen is a character. I'm pretty sure he lives in Hawaii. There are only about four of them (Cullen) living there. I was thinking about sending him a card and comment on his AP postings. IP: Logged |

PatAugust 10th is the post again date. I don't think putting the "Maschke question" on his sight is a good idea. It would be like showing our hand. I also like the "deer in the headlights" look that I get from applicants when I ask that question. I do have the LBTLD in plain view in my office. I like to watch the applicants try to look at it without me noticing them. By the way, Doug Williams' stuff is there along with Clifton and a few others! Ted Ted IP: Logged |

I use CVOS as my acquaintance test. I ask the following at question #5."Do you intend to try to tamper with the results of the test you are about to take?"It has led to a few admissions regarding GM and Dougie's websites. ------------------ Ex scientia veritas IP: Logged |

I was just over at the AP site. After reviewing the ten most recent posts I came away with a mental picture of the sound a hubcap might make dropped on a concrete floor in an empty warehouse. ------------------ Ex scientia veritas IP: Logged |
